This world is a reeking cesspool

Crooked cops just making quotas
While ICE shoots us in the streets
Sanctioned by felons in the Oval Office
Billionaires laughing at the poor
Raising their champagne glasses to opulence
Like the gilded Great Gatsby
Sanctimonious with their false charity
Famous names plastered on hospital wings
With stolen taxpayer funds
Are you lazy or complicit
Perhaps treasonous or simply apathetic
Because we will all pay the price
